This ‘N’ That

My blogroll is down. I do think this is a temp thing. I’m currently going through all the blogs I read to determine what blogs I want to continue reading. Bottom line, while I use to have endless time to read blogs, well, I’m now going to be working through my normal blog reading allotted time. So I’m deleting some of the boring ones from my bookmarks. It was time to do some house keeping anyways. This also means I needed to update my blogroll, but instead of remembering to delete each blog as I delete the bookmark, I’m just going to remove the entire blogroll and bring it back from scratch when I’m done. Blah blah blah. This paragraph is very wordy.

My two oldest boys are having sock wars on the sofa. Stinky, freshly removed socks. Thomas just screamed and threatened to kick Pat in the nuts.

It’s 11:00 and my son is still up. This is what we get from having the established rule there is no bedtime this summer.

We are cutting back on high fructose corn syrup. I’m still allowed to have the juice I use to take my pills because it’s my pill taking juice you don’t mess with that. But there is to be no more pop. This saddens me. Mt Dew and I go way back. I don’t think Pat fully realizes what all this involves getting rid of. Maybe cutting back was just his way of saying no more pop. I dunno. We’ll see.

I had my first real day of training today. It was suppose to be 4 hours of instructions and 1 hour of actually ringing people out. It turned into 1 hour of instruction and 4 hours of ringing people out. There are still a few things I’m not fully comfortable with, but it’s fairly easy. I will give it credit though, the 4 hours in lane flew by.

I still have more computer training to do. I don’t know when I’m suppose to do it. I should ask.

I think what hurts the most is knowing there will be days where I work 2 jobs and I won’t see my kids at all those days. That right there is why I’m going to have to work just one job. Everything else can suffer, but I need to see my kids. They are the reason I’m doing this. Husband too, but mostly my kids. They are my number one priority.

I’ve had fresh strawberries in the fridge for like 12 hours now. This is weird because normally they don’t make it to the fridge. My belly has this weird ability to intercept them.

I’m going to go read blogs now while my brain shuts down for the night. I have to be up at 8:30.
