3 Days, 3 Weeks

My blog entries from when I was in the hospital will cover this. But I really want to draw attention to it.

I’m very disappointed with the way things turned out.

I was looking for long term care with structured groups that would give me skills I could use to come home and function better.

I got short term care with some, but not much, structure to the groups and really no new skills to help me function better.

What I wanted and what I got were polar opposites.

So I’m home and disgruntled.

I did learn some interesting facts which I’ve already worked into bog entries. So those few days weren’t a total waste of time.

Now, where do I go from here?

I’m off work for the rest of this week and all of next so I have time to continue to destress and just work on functioning. It’s all that I can really do.

  1. That’s crappy the way things worked out. Sounds an awful lot like my last hospital stay…a waste of time…i got kept on the “acute” side, so there really wasn’t even another patient i could actually talk to…i did alot of aerobics in my room…ha. i am sooo glad you made a couple of friends…i hope so much that they stay in touch…(and i’m a poet!).

  2. I’m just waiting on my text message from Bella. Rya already found me on myspace and the blog.
