So. Someone found my blog via the search term “The BPD Fuckbuddy” and my first response was “No. Just… no.” Then I thought on it more, and while my answer is still no, there is a wee bit more to it.
First off, using us because we can sometimes be easy lays, is just not nice. It’s also unethical if you are conscience of what we’re doing.
Second off, may any god you believe in, be on your side when you try to end that relationship, because that won’t be fun for anyone involved. I’m telling you now, we take the ending of any relationship rough. And by rough I mean fire and brimstone upon your house. And if there is awareness that you were simply using us? You’re going to need a higher power to intervene on your behalf.
Even if we knew going in that their were no strings attached and it was only fuckbuddies with no future, there will still be hell come the end of things.
So no. Just no.
It’s funny cause it’s true!!!! The best part is.. it seems that the older I get, the more devastating a break up is. This last one was so rough – I was straight up abandoned by him. One day he left and didn’t come back. Left his clothes, ANIMALS! and knew that I had no resources/food/or a way of getting anywhere (no car or phone). I understand the level of crazy he had to put up with on a day to day basis… and I also know that from previous responses I have had with people leaving my life that… it was probably the right choice for his own mental health. This situation threw me into a deep depression which even caused me to have a stress related shingles outbreak at the age of 27…TWICE within a 3 month period.
What I don’t understand is why – after experiencing this – do I still love this man unconditionally (just like all my other ex’s).. why do I keep wanting to have a relationship with ANYONE?! I want someone to love me so freaking badly that I lose my mind! So yeah… attempting to use me as a fuck buddy…hahaha karma is a bitch! God will get you when it comes to being with me. “The Curse of Kate”
The need to be loved is universal. And yes, we do tend to still love unconditionally those who hurt us. At least at first. Eventually it can, and frequently does, change to hate. It’s a case by case thing.
