I’m pissed off

Posted September 30, 2009 By kmarrs

I’m pissed off because the first DBT group is today and I’m missing it because I’m too sick to attend.

I’m pissed off because we got screwed over by a debt collector and are now 100$ in the hole. Which will in the end make us 100$ short for rent.

I’m pissed off because no one seems to want to pick up after themselves around here without a huge hassle.

I’m pissed off because today is my day to sleep in and it got cut short because people were too loud and I really needed my day to sleep in because of being sick.

I’m pissed off because I need to be able to stay home tomorrow and I’m not going to be able to because I simply can’t afford it and this will piss off the people at work.

In short, I’m pissed off.

They Infected Me

Posted September 29, 2009 By kmarrs

The cooties have taken over my world and I’m officially sick. My fever isn’t near as high as the boys got. And I’m already into day 3 of it. Mostly I’m just dealing with an upset stomach and headaches. I got sent home from work early both Sunday and Monday and was told to not worry about today. As in please don’t come in, we’ll handle things without you.

This paycheck is going to suck.

This Just In…

Both boys are currently taking their second nap of the day. Thomas chose napping over quiet time at my computer.

This is how I know they are both really sick. (Well that and the fevers and vomiting…)

Flu Bug Don’t Bother Me

Posted September 25, 2009 By kmarrs

It’s official, Children’s Hospital was right. They thought Thomas’s migraine and fever was being caused by a flu bug last weekend. It seems they were right. 5 days later he is still feverish, still has headaches and he woke up in the middle of the night throwing up.

Now Luke and Patrick have it too.

Luke had a fever of 100/101 for all of yesterday. Today isn’t looking to be much better. He also spent most of yesterday with a light sensitive headache. Yes, I know when my 1 year old has a headache like that. Him pointing to his head and saying “owie” was a good clue. As was him freaking out when the lights were on. In all reality, when the entire family suffers from chronic headaches, you learn what to look for.

Did you know studies show that children as young as 2 years old can suffer from migraines?

At this point I’m hoping I don’t get sick too. We can’t afford for me to miss any work. That and I finally got my 5th day back, I don’t want to lose it by calling off or going home early.
