I have no recollection of this whatsoever. The animation doesn't look that far removed from the old Hobbit and Return of the King movies from the 70s. When was this made?
Nice to see what Harvey Weinstein was doing before Miramax. :)

Jesse and I are guessing, based on our DOBs and how old we were when we watched these, that tis' from the early 90's. So you were too old.
I love those old movies. I still have the one for the hobbit.

Were these new when you saw them? Or maybe they were going for a retro feel.
I figured I would have been too old, though usually I would have at least been aware of these things. :)
