To Sum It Up…
Yes, we bought all 4 rats they had. It was breaking my heart that the ones we didn’t buy would become snake food.
Do you find value in my blog? Have you maybe learned from me? Do you understand BPD a little better because of me? Do you want to show your appreciation? Consider leaving me Ko-Fi tip! Even just 3$ can help out food on the table and keep my electric on!

I was diagnosed with BPD in my mid 20's and have been writing about it ever since with the goal to educate, inform, and sometimes entertain. Depends on the day and topic.

Well it comes from having your sister with a snake in her room that had to be fed every few weeks. It was gross and I'm on your side. Ya gotta know I was jerking your chain.

Jerking my chain over a subject I've already shown to be overly sensitive about, is crule.

Please accept my humble appology. I understand where you're coming from and I've already said how adorable they are. I showed them off at work today. Can't wait to meet the rest of them.

I see I should have posted my other comment here instead. :)
We actually rescued one rat who was going to be snake food. In fact, the ad that we answered said something like "Come Get My Rat" and, when we inquired, were told that the woman's snake wouldn't eat her for some reason.
Despite the fact that we already had too many, we knew we had to go get that one. She was born without a tail and she was *so* cute. Probably the most personality of the many rats we've had, too.
Needless to say, we agree with both of you.
