I don't know about *4* rats, but I'm glad to hear that you went in to buy at least one more. Rats are very social creatures, and I was a bit sad when I read that you had only bought one.
We have 5 at the moment, but we had 11 at one point. We'll never do *that* again, but we'll always have from 4-6 rats from now on.
