You can’t apply for SSI if you are working. So if the time comes again that I’m unemployed and having trouble changing that status due to mental health, I’ll file then. Otherwise I’m just going to keep working. It’s the right thing to do.

Thanks for the info, as i was wondering the same thing as well, when you posted about your questions. Of course, at my “chatti” job, i am lucky if i get 12 hours a week…not exactly helping the family financial crisis…!
